Interpreting Contrasts – in 9 lines for NaPoWriMo

NaPoWriMo Day 9

Lackluster grey roofs preserve stereotype spirits

Breathtaking mountains seek revenge from kindered skies

Sharp paper cuts, sleek, patterned drops of blood

Crumbling, spouting intestines scattered the searing blast

Graffiti walls, salute fallen heroes with bold question scripts

Lacquered posters, address ‘greatness’ in awkward strokes

Golf course weekends, tousled together for work

Wicker bowls in hands, begging favors for food

Mortified glances, isolate the other ;frontiers of pretence, both here and there

  1. Wicker bowls in hand, begging favors for food is indeed a stark reminder to the devotees who
Live under the illusion that ” Dhoop” and “incense offerings ” at religious places are a substitute
for hard work But this is perhaps only an interpretation of the reader.
Actually the poet has beautifully depicted the Contrasts — interpretations of contrastsis is left to the readers
You are a genius my child What a use of words to express feelings of sensitive soul God be with you
    Papa
